For all visitors we have maps of Hydra available, detailing tavernas, hotels, conference facilities etc.
The island of Hydra is
located in the Saronic Gulf,
opposite the Peloponnese,
only 1 ½ hours by hydrofoil
from Piraeus, the port of
Athens.
The Hydra Experience
will happily arrange the
transportation from Venizelos
airport, Athens, to Hydra
and back again.
Please note that we do not book plane tickets. However, we are of course happy to give you advice if you like.
For visitors from abroad
we offer different options for transportation:
At arrival we go by bus from Venizelos to Piraeus and then by hydrofoil to Hydra.
An alternative is a guided bus trip from Venizelos via Corinth, across the Peloponnese to a harbour opposite Hydra and then by a fast boat to Hydra.
At departure we go by hydrofoil from Hydra to Piraeus, and bring you by bus directly to the airport.
Or we go by hydrofoil from Hydra to Piraeus, bring you by bus to the Acropolis where we stop for a visit to one of the world`s most famous sites, and then continue to the airport by bus.
For visitors already in Greece we can arrange bus and/or boat as needed.
